Your opinions on the 'daylight-warriors'?

I honestly find them kinda pitiful. Firestar told Cherrytail and Sparrowpelt that they needed to make a choice - Clan or housefolk. Leafstar is letting kittypets be 'warriors' in the daytime, and then go back to their Twolegs. I think that was bad judgement on her part. I mean, really... kitty-warriors. xD

I think for a clan that's just starting up, they don't really have much of a choice. Eventually, Leafstar has to make them choose, but in the beginning of the new Skyclan, I think they need as many interested cats to get the experience as possible. I think it would have been smart to say, you have six moons to decide whether you want this life or not, until then you can be a daylight-warrior, but after that its one or the other. Somewhere in the original series, a cat says you cant live with a paw in each world (I think its Fireheart that says it to Cloudpaw , but it might have been Bluestar that says it to Firepaw, been a while since I read them), which I believe is completely true. But as a clan that's trying to rebuild from scratch, I don't think Skyclan can afford to be that picky at first.

You are right; SkyClan is small and needs to swell their ranks. I just think that letting them live between housefolk and Clan life and not really making them choose one or the other is a bit lenient.

It's true that Skyclan needed more warriors, and not saying daylight warriors are soft, but it seems like they can't cope as well as the other, all-the-time warriors. Also in some parts it seems like warriors like Bouncefire and Ebonyclaw don't think there should be daylight warriors, so there's often fighting among them.

I didn't think that it was right that Bouncefire and Rockshade and them treat the kittypets badly, but I still didn't really support the idea too much.
